The Center at Centennial in Colorado Springs is seeking an LPN to provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring. Work alongside physicians and the nursing team to assess and report changes, and contribute to care plan development.

Responsibilities include documenting care in electronic health records, collaborating with staff, participating in surveys and quality improvement, and maintaining a safe, therapeutic environment

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered LPN license.
• Ability to make independent decisions and exercise sound judgment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and long-term care regulations.
• Ability to work in a team and supervise others if needed.
• Patience, compassion and a positive attitude.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and transport residents with assistance.

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
