Job summary

Hillis-Carnes Capitol Services, PLLC (HCCS) in Washington, DC is seeking a CMT Sample Pickup Technician to collect concrete test cylinders and other construction material samples from job sites and transport them to the laboratory.

You will maintain chain-of-custody, ensure accuracy of documentation, and promote safe driving practices and PPE usage in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; degrees in engineering/geology are a plus.
• Ability to safely operate a vehicle and navigate urban streets and construction sites.
• Must meet pre-employment criteria including motor vehicle record.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Able to perform basic mathematical computations.
• Lift and/or move up to 60–80 pounds.
