Qualifications

• 12 years of related experience with a professional engineering or geology license.
• Or 16 years of related experience with certifications per ECS Senior Technical Staff Policies and Procedures.
• High school diploma or GED required; BS in Civil/Geology related field preferred.
• Maintain licenses/certifications as required by ECS policies.
• Valid driver’s license if operating for ECS.
• Established reputation as a technical expert in construction materials testing.
• Strong regional or multi-regional client relationships and BD experience.
• Advanced technical expertise across CMT disciplines and leadership at an org level.
• Ability to sign final technical reviews and adapt to regional geology challenges.
• Proficiency with advanced analysis software and mentoring senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Provides enterprise-level technical oversight across CMT projects.
• Performs final technical review of reports, calculations, and deliverables.
• Ensures technical quality and adherence to standards across teams.
• Oversees project performance and resolves high-risk issues.
• Mentors Associate Principals, Senior PMs, and staff.
• Leads business development and expands client relationships.
• Prepares and reviews proposals, contracts, and major decisions.
• Supports department and office financial performance (P&L awareness).
• Assists staffing decisions and workforce planning.
• Represents ECS as a technical expert in industry and community.
• Participates in leadership activities and governance.
