Duty First Consulting seeks a qualified professional with experience in operations or policy of the Federal Health Insurance Marketplace to join a federal healthcare consulting team in the Washington, DC area. The role emphasizes rigorous analysis, clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

You will support CMS-related projects, review policy and legislation, develop plain-language technical guidance, and deliver briefings

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 2+ years experience supporting Federally-facilitated or State-based Exchanges or similar organizations.
• Ability to obtain US government security clearance if needed.
• Applicants must have legal right to work in the US; sponsorship is not available.
• Preference for qualified Veteran candidates.

Responsabilidades

• Provide subject matter expertise to support implementation of complex federal health policy and functional design improvements.
• Review federal policy, standards, and legislation to understand Marketplace requirements.
• Evaluate and analyze impact of changes to CMS legislation prior to Congress.
• Research policy issues and translate concepts into plain-language guidance and documentation.
• Provide technical assistance to Federal and State agencies and private sector organizations.
• Facilitate meetings and coordinate assignments with stakeholders to diagnose problems and develop actions.
• Support continuous process improvement to enhance program efficiency.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative methods to assess program effectiveness.
• Draft briefings, reports and other deliverables.
• Conduct quality assurance activities.
