Job summary

CMS Environmental Solutions is seeking an Environmental Analyst to join our Florida team. You will inspect erosion and sediment control on commercial, residential, industrial, and highway construction projects, and prepare detailed compliance reports.

Responsibilities include reviewing SWPPPs, managing client accounts, and collaborating with engineers and regulators on programs such as NPDES, CERCLA, and RCRA. A relevant bachelor’s degree and certifications are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Desire to pursue professional certifications such as CISEC or CPESC.
  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and data systems.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect erosion and sediment control on commercial, residential, industrial, and highway construction sites.
  • Conduct field investigations and prepare detailed compliance reports.
  • Review, update, and maintain Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs).
  • Manage client accounts and coordinate daily with engineers and regulatory contacts.
  • Assist in environmental, hydrological, and geotechnical projects (NPDES, CERCLA, RCRA).

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong technical and field skills, with a desire to pursue professional certifications such as CISEC or CPESC.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with environmental data systems.
  • LEVEL 1 TDEC Certification is a plus (compensation adjusted accordingly).
  • A commitment to integrity, accuracy, and environmental responsibility.
Salary Description

$38,000 - $40,000
