Hackensack Meridian Health seeks an experienced CMO Emeritus to guide the transition for the new CMO at JSUMC during the transition year. The role requires collaboration with legal teams, the FTE committee, and oversight of contracts for new hires and service providers.

The incumbent mentors the incoming Chief Medical Officer, offering strategic, cultural, historical, and political insights to support leadership decisions and organizational continuity.

Qualificações

• Must be a graduate of an MD or DO program.
• Previous experience as a Chief Medical Officer.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office and Google Suite).

The CMO Emeritus, JSUMC will serve during the transition year of the new CMO to ensure success of the new CMO. This role supports network and local PI interventions and monitors the Gainsharing project to ensure appropriate completion and payment for the current year. The CMO Emeritus, JSUMC closely collaborates with legal, and FTE committee to ensure appropriate and timely contracting for new hires, renewing physicians, on call providers, service providers and special projects. The CMO Emeritus, JSUMC serves as a mentor for the new Chief Medical Officer, to provide strategic, visionary, cultural, historical, and political insights about the organization and medical staff, and to be a sounding board for leadership approaches to be undertaken.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Graduate of an MD or DO program
• Previous experience as a Chief Medical Officer
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Physician contracting experience

Licenses and Certifications Required:

• Medical Doctor License or Doctor of Osteopathy License
