Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a CMMS Engineer to act as a system master expert within the AWS data center region.

The role designs, develops and deploys innovative solutions to address operational challenges, owning the process from start to finish with deploying the EAM platform in your data center region. You will support local data center teams with asset collection, maintenance schedules, reporting, and training.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel experience.
  • Experience in a data center or other critical environment.
  • 3+ years of CMMS experience.
  • 3+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment experience.
  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain site asset data through Hexagon EAM.
  • Coordinate maintenance scheduling within the CMMS application with data center teams.
  • Perform routine data scrubs and correct anomalies; seek automation improvements.
  • Plan and conduct training and workshop sessions for large audiences within the organization.

We are currently seeking a CMMS Engineer to serve as a system master expert within Amazon data center region. Ideal candidates will possess the ability to design, develop and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges. This role requires both effective contributions as well as the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams. The scope of this role will include but not limited to owning the process from start to finish with deploying the EAM platform in your data center region. Working to support local data center teams with asset collection; maintenance schedules, reporting, and training. As part of the global EAM team, you will help drive global processes and document development. This role acts as the gatekeeper for mission critical data in EAM, responsible for the accuracy and reports produced in EAM. You will be required on a frequent basis to help develop systems enhancement modules of core and advanced modules to meet Regional or Global business requirements. There will be 20% travel when launching new locations.

Key job responsibilities

The CMMS Engineer will be responsible for setup and maintaining site asset data through Hexagon EAM. The engineer will work within the data centers to ensure that asset details are captured to match the digital record. They will work with corresponding teams to align and schedule maintenance within the CMMS application. The engineer will proactively perform routine data scrubs, identify and correct any anomalies, while continuously looking for ways to automate and enhance processes. They will also plan and conduct training and workshop sessions for large audiences within the organization.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel experience

  • 3+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment experience
  • Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in SQL Server/MySQL, or experience in Database like NoSQL and experience with programming/scripting (Batch, VB, PowerShell, Java, C#, Chef, Perl, Ruby and/or PHP)
  • Experience in business intelligence and analytics
  • 3+ years of maintenance planner/scheduler working within an industrial maintenance complex, manufacturing/distribution industries, or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience in supporting procedures for production or mission critical environments to include ticketing, monitoring/metrics, and troubleshooting technical issues

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
