Job summary

Maestro Search is seeking a CMMC Consultant to join our Fort Meade-area team and play a key role on the CMMC consulting group. This onsite role collaborates with internal teams and client stakeholders across the DIB to advance cybersecurity maturity.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a GRC/security role focused on NIST 800-171 or similar frameworks, with a technical background in network and cloud security.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a GRC/compliance/security role with NIST 800-171 or similar frameworks.
• Strong technical background in network and cloud security is a plus.
• Industry certifications such as Security+, Network+, CISA, CCP; CCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and client teams to stay current on NIST 800-171, DFARS, and CMMC requirements.
• Perform gap assessments of on-prem and cloud environments, collect evidence, and document results.
• Identify gaps and define practical remediation paths for client environments.
