Job summary

NE-XT Technologies seeks a Quality Engineer to develop and edit CMM programs using PC-DIMS and MCOSMOS, and to define inspection strategies from drawings and CAD models. You will validate measurements with MSA/gage R&R and contribute to PPAP and FAI documentation.

You will work with engineers and machinists to ensure products meet specifications, maintaining QA records and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100. This is a fast-paced manufacturing QA role requiring precision and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in CMM programming.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading and inspection methodologies.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Experience with MSA and gage R&R for measurement validation.
• Experience with quality inspection in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with statistical analysis tools (Minitab/SPC).
• Ability to work under pressure and drive quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and edit CMM programs using PC-DIMS and MCOSMOS.
• Interpret drawings, CAD models, and specs to define inspection strategies.
• Select fixturing, tooling, and setups for repeatable measurements.
• Review inspection and testing against drawings and specs.
• Perform MSA and gage R&R to validate measurements.
• Create and maintain QA documentation (control plans, PPAP, FAI).
• Ensure process documentation complies with requirements and contracts.
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and QC staff.
