Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: Use of CMM and hand equipment for dimensional inspection.
• Certifications: AFS Laboratory Certification preferred.
• Knowledge: DMIS 6.0, PC-DMIS, Polyworks, Bluelight.
• Ability to read blue prints and interpret reduced dimension drawings.
• Ability to program using electronic model and AS9100 awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of castings to ensure conformance to blueprint or file requirements.
• Interpret geometrically dimensioned and tolerance drawings.
• Prepare First Article Inspection reports using AS9102 forms.
• Operate measurement equipment such as surface plate, sine plates, height gauges, radii gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
• Possess the ability to perform essential responsibilities and accommodate individuals with disabilities.

Consolidated Precision Products (CPP) in Cudahy is currently looking for a CMM Programmer to join our team! This role will be reporting to our Operations Supervisor at our Aerospace Manufactory in Cudahy.

Salary Rate: $34 -$39 DOE

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Perform visual and dimensional inspection of castings to determine conformance to blueprint, or electronic file requirements.
• Ability to interpret geometrically dimensioned and tolerance engineering drawings.
• Perform First Article Inspection Reports using AS9102 Forms as required.
• Work from and with dimensional inspection measurement equipment such as surface plate, sine plates, height gages, radii gages, calipers, micrometers and other assorted hand measurement equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Preferred
• Experience: Utilization of both CMM and hand equipment to perform dimensional inspection techniques.
• Certifications/Licenses: AFS Laboratory Certification Preferred.
• Computer Skills: Virtual Dimensional Measuring Interface Specification (DMIS) 6.0, Virtual DMIS, Routine CMM Operation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance,
• Expert PC-DMIS Knowledge required.
• Polyworks And Bluelight scanning a plus.
• Software experience; Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
• Ability to read blue prints in order to determine and measure features and tolerances.
• Ability to interpret reduced dimension drawings
• Ability to program using electronic model
• Surface Plate Inspection using Standard Inspection Tools
• Knowledge of Aerospace Standard (AS) 9100 requirements
• Bilingual – English/Spanish a Plus
