Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing seeks a CMM Programmer to plan layouts, program and operate CMMs, and perform process capability studies. The role includes maintaining the CMM lab, ensuring calibration, and supporting customer PPAP submissions.

The candidate should have a BS degree and 1–2 years of related experience, with Proficiency in PCDMIS/PolyWorks and Romer scanning. 2nd shift, M-F, at Northlake, TX facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and measurement tolerance.
• Experience with CMM programming and inspection processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct proper layout information for products using customer formats.
• Program and operate CMM machines and conduct capability studies.

Operates and maintains lab and equipment including CMM, gauge certifications, and hand tool calibrations (calipers, micrometers, scales, and other measurable tools). Responsible for programming and operating CMM machines.
