Job summary

Saige Partners is seeking a CMM Operator to support quality and manufacturing by performing dimensional inspections and layout verification with precision equipment. You will ensure calibration records are up to date and provide accurate measurement data to engineering and production teams.

The role requires reading GD&T on drawings, maintaining SPC records, and generating inspection reports. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a quality or inspection role involving CMM operation.
• Hands-on PC-DMIS experience; Brown & Sharpe CMM preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections and layout verification of parts, assemblies, fixtures, and gauges using a CMM and other precision measuring equipment.
• Follow established customer and internal inspection standards, procedures, and methodologies.
• Coordinate and maintain calibration schedules for measuring instruments, gauges, fixtures, and related equipment.
• Prepare accurate and timely inspection reports for quality and manufacturing teams.
• Maintain measurement data and SPC information in electronic systems.
