Job summary

ResourceMFG is seeking a CMM Operator in Lafayette, IN for the 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 10:30pm–7:00am). You will set up, operate, and adjust CMMs to inspect machined components and report results to production.

This role requires hands-on CNC and conventional machining experience and familiarity with CMM programming tools. The ideal candidate has experience with SPECTRUM and PC-DMIS, works well in a team, and demonstrates strong organizational skills to support quality assurance throughout

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in CNC and conventional machining operations.
• Knowledge and experience in computer controlled operations.
• Operation of CMMs with programming languages such as SPECTRUM and PC-DMIS.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt to change with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and adjust a variety of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect and check component quality.
• Perform CMM checks and analyze machined components at various processing stages.
• Communicate CMM report results to machinist or supervisor for corrective action when needed.

Hours and Pay:

3rd Shift

Sunday-Thursday 10:30pm-7:00am

$24.27/hour+$1.35 shift differential= $25.62

Job Description:

• Set up, operate and adjust a variety of Coordinate Measuring
• Machines (CMM) to layout and check the quality of machined components.
• Performs CMM checks and analyze machined components at various stages of processing
• Communicates results of the CMM report to the machinist/supervisor for corrective
• action when needed

Job Requirements:

This position requires hands on experience in:

• CNC and conventional machining operations such as milling, drilling, boring, tapping, broaching,
• etc.
• Knowledge and experience in computer controlled operations.
• Operation of CMM’s, require the knowledge and use of programming languages such as
• SPECTRUM and PC-DMIS.
• Prior experience with these programming languages is a plus. The applicant must be able to work in a team environment, be receptive to change and have good organizational skills
