Job summary

CCS INC in Anaheim, CA is seeking a CMM Inspector Technician to join the on-site quality team. You will inspect machined castings and components using Zeiss CMMs and Calypso software, applying GD&T to ensure conformance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years with Zeiss CMMs (Calypso), strong blueprint reading, and solid GD&T knowledge, plus familiarity with SPC fundamentals and 5S in a lab environment.

Qualifications

• AA degree or trade school training in quality/metrology, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years programming and operating Zeiss CMMs (Calypso) in a close-tolerance environment.
• Strong blueprint reading and advanced GD&T skills.
• Familiarity with precision measuring tools and SPC fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined castings and components using Zeiss CMMs and Calypso software.
• Read and apply GD&T (ASME Y14.5) to evaluate part conformance.
• Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
• Analyze SPC data (Cpk/Ppk) and flag process drift.
• Maintain CMM calibration and a clean, organized inspection lab (5S).

What You Need
