Job summary

DCS Corporation in Huntsville, AL seeks a Configuration Management/Data Management (CMDM) Analyst to support an Army product office. You will develop systems engineering docs, processes, and procedures; perform data management and track milestones with cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in configuration and data management in a DOW environment, or 16 years with HS diploma.
• Experience in process improvement and documentation accuracy.
• Strong coordination with internal and government personnel.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with PDM/PLM and source control tools.
• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Support CMDM activities, including product baseline establishment, document control, engineering release processes, and change management.
• Review and routing of engineering work products for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, vendors, and government personnel to ensure timely processing and communication of CMDM activities.
• Prepare and maintain CMDM documentation, reports, and inputs for proposals or basis of estimate development.
• Contribute to the development and execution of plans, methodologies, and CMDM processes in alignment with project goals and schedules.
• Participate in cross-functional collaboration to define, generate and utilize metrics to ensure timely and consistent application of CMDM practices across projects.
• Use professional judgment to identify and resolve issues within assigned areas, escalating as needed.
• Safeguard CUI, source selection data, and proprietary contractor data while enabling data-driven decision-making for senior leaders.
• Primary data liaison and POC between the government and contractors to assist in PDM tool access and account management.
