Job summary

Maine Community College System is seeking an adjunct instructor for Introduction to Ethics courses starting fall 2026. This role requires teaching both day and evening classes in person at our Auburn campus.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree and have experience teaching at the college level. Enthusiasm for student learning and proficiency with a learning management system is highly valued.

Title: Adjunct instructor for Introduction to Ethics courses (fall 2026)

Bargaining Unit/Salary Level: Salary and Benefits commensurate with the Agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MSEA Adjunct Faculty Unit.

Responsibilities

Central Maine Community College seeks adjunct faculty to teach Introduction to Ethics courses. The instructor will deliver curriculum and use a learning management system. Courses include both day and evening hours and will be taught in person at our Auburn campus.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in related field
• Experience teaching at the college level
• Experience with Brightspace or other Learning Management Systems
• Possess enthusiasm and passion for student learning and be able to respond to the needs of students using a variety of teaching methods
