Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program Required
• In Lieu of formal education program, two (2) years of medical assistant or related clinical experience is Required

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under supervision of a physician, physician extender, or registered nurse in accordance with established guidelines and standards. Duty assignments vary and include front office and back office functions.
