Job summary

Sauk Prairie Healthcare is seeking a CMA/MA/LPN at the Prairie Clinic. This 0.9 FTE position (36 hours/week) runs Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 5:00pm, with one evening until 7:00pm and no holiday rotation. You will perform clinical and administrative duties in an ambulatory setting under licensed supervision.

You will manage patient flow, assist with procedures, document histories, and support infection control and scheduling. A BSN is not required; BLS is required within 3 months.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required (MA).
• CMA requires graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Training program.
• LPN requires completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine patient care under physician or licensed staff.
• Take vital signs and obtain medical histories.
• Prepare patients for examinations or procedures.
• Administer medications as directed by provider (non-IV).
• Schedule appointments and maintain medical records.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and result processing.
• Manage patient flow and rooming workflows.
• Assist in infection control and sterilization.
• Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations.

Education

High school graduate or equivalent (MA)

High school graduate or equivalent with graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant Training program (CMA)

Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program (LPN)
