Prevea Health is seeking a dedicated CMA/LPN for primary care in Ashwaubenon, full-time. You will handle pre-visit planning, rooming, and assist with procedures under the supervision of a medical provider, contributing to a seamless patient visit.

Responsibilities include vital signs, chart preparation, patient instruction within licensure scope, administering medications or immunizations, maintaining clean exam rooms, and ensuring supplies are ready for each patient encounter.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Medical Assistant program or Practical Nursing program.
• Minimum 160 hours of direct patient care experience as a MA/LPN.
• Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse preferred.

• Coordinate provider schedules and appointment, enter orders and prepare patient charts.
• Instruct patients and families as directed within scope of licensure or certification.

• Maintain exam rooms and equipment to be within infection control standards.
• Ensure appropriate levels of medical supplies for each patient room.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for pre-visit planning, standard rooming responsibilities, assisting with procedures, discharge instructions and carries out both administrative and clinical tasks as directed by a medical provider. This position is instrumental in helping the patient feel at ease while collaborating with the provider throughout the patient's visit.

Required Experience Qualifications

Required Experience Qualifications Minimum Of 160 Hours Of Direct patient care experience as a MA/LPN obtained through professional MA/LPN.

Work Experience

Work Experience Or Completion Of Student Clinical Rotations. Required Current clinical experience as a Medical Assistant Preferred. Current clinical experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse Preferred.
