Ottumwa Regional Health Center, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our day-shift team in Ottumwa, IA. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week with rotating weekends and a patient-centered environment.

As a CMA, you will provide direct and indirect patient care under supervision of a provider, uphold regulatory standards, and support clinic operations. A CMA certification and 2–3 years in a physician's office are preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required and completion of Certified or Registered Medical Assistant training.
• CMA (AAMA) Certification or NCMA or RMA preferred and BCLS certification required.
• 2–3 years medical office experience preferred and relevant training considered.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct and indirect patient care in the clinic setting.
• Maintains regulatory requirements, office policies, and patient flow priorities.
• Communicates with providers about changes in patient condition and test results.

Conocimientos

CMA (AAMA) Certified

BCLS Certification

Medical office experience
