Adventist Health The Dalles Waters Edge Immediate Care - RHC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support non-invasive, routine clinical tasks under licensed supervision. Based in The Dalles, Oregon, the role focuses on preparing exam rooms, taking vitals, and assisting physicians and clinicians. Job Summary

Performs non-invasive, routine, technical support services under the specific authorization and supervision of a licensed physician, podiatrist, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or nurse midwife.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience:

• High School Education/GED or equivalent: Required

Licenses/Certifications

• Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• Successful completion of audiometry and vision training or have a certificate from CHDP: Preferred
• Phlebotomy certificate: Preferred

Facility Specific License/Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required

• Obtains vital signs, and reports significant findings and pertinent patient observations to clinic physician.
• Performs audiometry and vision testing.

Compensation and Work Details

Pay Range : The estimated base pay for this position is $21.14 to $31.68. Additional individual compensation may be available for this role through differentials, extra shift incentives, bonuses, etc. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
