Job summary

MUSC Employee Health Services is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) II to support pre-employment screenings, injury and exposure visits, and vaccine administration. You will work with RNs and providers to deliver efficient occupational health care and help with front desk duties.

Requirements include a high school diploma, CMA program completion, CMA/RMA experience, and current BLS certification. This is a day shift position in South Carolina.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed accredited medical assistant program.
• Six months CMA/RMA experience required.
• Certified by AMT, AAMA, NHA, MedCA, NAHP or NCCT as CCMA/CMA.
• Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-employment health screenings and injury/exposure visits.
• Support vaccine administration, phlebotomy, and specimen collection.
• Assist front desk operations: employee registration, scheduling, phone management, and documentation.
• Ensure smooth clinic workflow and collaboration with RNs and providers.
