Job summary

The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) at CHS Career Site supports patient care under supervision of a medical provider in Las Cruces, NM. The role combines clinical and administrative duties to ensure smooth clinic operations and excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• High school graduate required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with clinical procedures (vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, vaccines, EKGs, wound care).
• prepares and cleans exam rooms and manages patient intake.
• Supports scheduling, referrals, insurance verifications and clinic communications.
• Maintains organized workload and delivers prompt, courteous service.
• Monitors supplies and educates patients on medications and health topics.
• Performs other duties and maintains reliable attendance.
