You will collect data, prepare patients for visits, assist with exams, and maintain clean facilities while using electronic medical records. A CMA certification and high school diploma are required, with AHA BLS-HCP certification also expected.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Licensure: Medical Assistant Certification from a recognized national body.
• Experience: None; willing to hire on provisional status during certification.
• Standard: AHA BLS-HCP required.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic technical clinical services and clerical support under licensed staff.
• Collect patient data: height, weight, vitals, complaints, medications for assessment.
• Prepare patients for provider evaluations and assist during exams and procedures.
• Maintain clean exam and lab areas and manage supplies.
• Document patient information in medical records in a timely manner.
• Assist with lab procedures and perform diagnostic tests as directed.
• Greet patients, check-in/out, and manage appointments and messages.
