Medlinkhealth Anesthesia Associates is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support primary care clinics in Golden Valley, MN and Brooklyn Park, MN. You will manage patient flow, perform rooming protocols, administer vaccines and injections, perform venipuncture, and assist providers with clinical procedures across diverse patient populations.

The position offers 40 hours per week with a rotating schedule across Golden Valley and Brooklyn

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ABHES/CAAHEP accredited MA program OR RMA with passing exam required.
• Active BLS certification required.
• Active Minnesota LPN license required for LPN track.

Responsibilities

• Clinical rooming and maintaining patient flow; record vitals and histories.
• Administer immunizations, injections, medications; venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Support patient communication, triage calls, refills, and prior authorizations.
• Assist with front desk duties and basic X-ray tasks where allowed.
• Provide multi-site coverage across Golden Valley and Brooklyn Park clinics.

Role Overview:

Seeking a collaborative Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a permanent placement opportunity supporting primary care clinics in Golden Valley, MN and Brooklyn Park, MN. The clinician will manage patient flow, perform standardized rooming protocols, administer ordered medications/immunizations, collect laboratory specimens, and assist providers with clinical procedures for diverse patient populations (infants through geriatrics).

Weekly Schedule & Hours:

• Guaranteed Hours: Full-Time | 40 hours per week.
• Daily Shift Schedule:
  • Monday: Golden Valley (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
  • Tuesday: Golden Valley (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
  • Wednesday: Golden Valley (7:30 AM – 12:00 PM).
  • Thursday: Brooklyn Park (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
  • Friday: Golden Valley (7:00 AM – 4:30 PM).
• Weekend Requirements: No weekends.
• On-Call Requirements: No call coverage required.

Key Responsibilities & Clinical Scope:

• Clinical Rooming & Patient Flow: Perform standard patient rooming workflows; record vital signs, medical histories, and active medications; prep patients for exams and minor clinical procedures.
• Medications & Laboratory Testing: Administer provider‑ordered immunizations, injections, and medications; perform venipuncture/phlebotomy and routine point‑of‑care laboratory specimen collection and testing.
• Patient & Clinic Communication: Facilitate patient‑provider communications, assist with phone triage, process prescription refills, and assist with prior authorizations.
• Clinic Operations & Administrative Support: Restock exam rooms, order medical supplies, perform front desk check‑in duties as assigned, and execute basic X‑ray duties (if state X‑ray operator exam is passed).
• Multi‑Site Coverage: Support daily operational flow across both Golden Valley and Brooklyn Park clinic locations per weekly schedule.

Qualifications & Submission Requirements

For Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Candidates:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) [REQUIRED].
• Graduation from an ABHES or CAAHEP accredited Medical Assistant program OR graduation from an accredited RMA program with passing RMA certification exam score [REQUIRED].
• Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross [REQUIRED].

For Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Candidates:

• Active Minnesota LPN License verified via Nursys at time of submission [REQUIRED].
• Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross [REQUIRED].
• LPN Permanent Salary Range: $24.50/hour – $32.77/hour (based on experience).
