Job summary

Bluestar Resort & Golf is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean and sanitary environment for the Club facilities in Peoria, AZ. The position reports to the Facility Maintenance Manager or Housekeeping Supervisor.

Responsibilities include cleaning Club buildings on a daily schedule, assisting maintenance, and supporting events setup. A flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required; prior housekeeping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months’ experience in housekeeping or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean all Club buildings on a daily schedule.
• Clean facilities including floors, carpets, walls, ledges, pictures, mirrors, furniture, fixtures and equipment; empty garbage containers.
• Assist Maintenance Department in completing duties as assigned.
• Maintain an infection-free facility by thorough washing, cleaning, and replacing equipment and/or furnishings.
• Report repairs or the need for replacements to the facility maintenance manager.
• Work in a safe manner and use all personal protective equipment.
• Comply with OSHA, EPA, and Health Department rules for using cleaning products and chemicals.
• Assist with set up and tear down for Club events.
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
