Job summary

Isleworth Golf & Country Club in Windermere, FL, is seeking a full-time custodian to keep member and community areas clean and ready for use.

The role requires reading and communicating in English, outdoor work in all weather, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs; weekend and holiday shifts are required.

• Clean restrooms and shower areas in locker rooms.
• Restock towels, soap, and amenities.
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

This is a full time position. Must be flexible to work days, evenings, and holidays. This position is responsible for keeping all of Isleworth Golf & Country Club members and community areas clean and ready to be used at all times.

• Maintains a neat, tidy, organized appearance of all club facilities
• Dust all furniture, ceiling fan blades, light fixtures, columns, railings, etc.
• Vacuums carpet, sweep/mop floors
• Cleans ladies and men's restrooms
• Wipes down shower walls and curtain (in Locker Rooms) (employee/pool restrooms)
• Restocks towels, washcloths, soap, and other supplies and amenities
• Works outside that could be in adverse environmental conditions (e.g., heat, cold, and rain)

Requirements

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to work outside on a daily basis in all types of weather
• Previous experience in custodial work preferred
• Must be able to lift/push/pull/stop up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to work a flexible shift rotating from 1st, mid, and/or 2nd shift
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must have a valid Florida Driver’s License
