Job summary

USA Volleyball in Irvine, CA seeks a Director of Club Programming to lead the design, delivery, and scale-up of club-facing programming within the USAV ecosystem. The role drives adoption of the ADM-based participation pathways and oversees a manager of club relationships.

Ideal candidates bring seven years in sports program management, strong leadership, and proven ability to build partnerships with affiliates, schools, and communities.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressive experience in sports program management or similar.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience partnering across affiliates, regional bodies, schools, or community organizations.
• Experience designing and scaling participation-based programs from concept to national rollout.
• Ability to develop business cases, budgets, and executive proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of grassroots and club programming strategy.
• Design and oversee sustainable youth programming models (clinics, leagues, camps).
• Translate concepts into launch-ready program materials and roadmaps.
• Coordinate with Education and ADM functions to ensure safe, developmentally appropriate practices.
• Partner with clubs, affiliates, and communities to implement local programming.
• Collaborate with marketing to promote programming to clubs and regions.
• Develop KPI, evaluation frameworks, and post-launch feedback loops.
