Job summary

Arcis Golf River Place Club in Austin, TX seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead engineering and housekeeping teams, oversee all facility systems, and drive preventive maintenance programs. You will supervise staff, manage safety procedures, and coordinate capital projects and vendor bids to maintain a premier club environment.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a proactive approach to energy management and guest satisfaction. Evening/weekend flexibility is often needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; 1–2 years engineering management/supervisor experience.
• Excellent people and communication skills.
• Proven experience managing facilities maintenance.
• Willingness to learn and perform new engineering programs and services.
• Flexibility with evenings and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, supervise, and discipline department staff.
• Adheres to property purchasing policies and controls, including contractor bids, budgets, and schedules.
• Oversee maintenance of building systems (mechanical, electrical, HVAC) and related equipment.
• Generate reports and input information into a computer for oversight.
• Conduct walk-throughs, assess safety and efficiency, and propose cost-effective improvements.
• Attend meetings and coordinate with hotel operations and department heads.
