Job summary

In-Shape Fitness is seeking a Club Custodian to uphold a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members across our California clubs. You will follow safety policies, perform deep cleaning, and maintain hygiene logs while delivering the In-Shape Member Experience.

This role requires English communication, ability to lift up to 45 lbs, and flexibility to work overnight, weekends, and holidays. CPR/First Aid training may be required or provided.

Qualifications

• Must have basic fitness enthusiasm and passion for creating a clean, safe club environment.
• Pool maintenance experience is a plus and may be required at some locations.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe environment by following safety policies and procedures.
• Use cleaning tools to perform deep cleaning and disinfection.
• Follow the In-Shape Clean Approach and maintain cleanliness records via logs.
• Assist in daily upkeep of club amenities.
• Contribute to building a positive member experience and community atmosphere.
• Monitor pool and slide as applicable and enforce safety rules.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
