Job summary

Booz Allen is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to operate and optimize cloud platforms, automate infrastructure, and support mission-focused teams deploying cloud-native solutions. You’ll work in a large government program environment using Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, Terragrunt, and Python to build secure, scalable pipelines.

The role emphasizes DevSecOps, monitoring, and rapid delivery with CI/CD tools.

Qualifications

4+ years of experience operating cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Experience with Docker or Kubernetes and with automation tools (GitLab/GitHub).
Experience with IaC tooling (Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM).
Experience with scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems and cloud-native applications.
Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience with a cloud service provider, or Master's +1 year.
Ability to obtain AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified CloudOps, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert within 60 days of start date.
Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II or IAT Level III within 30 days of start date.
