Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and run automated End-to-End tests for cloud applications within an Agile scrum team.

You will test web-based CAD applications, submit defect reports, and develop automation for performance testing while contributing to data management and test reporting. The role emphasizes ownership across the software lifecycle and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics or related discipline.
• 1–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong background in JavaScript and Selenium.
• Experience with AWS (EC2, S3).
• Familiarity with Playwright, GitHub CoPilot and GitLab.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and run End-to-End Test Automation.
• Test web-based CAD applications within a scrum team.
• Submit problem reports, identify root cause, and document defects clearly.
• Develop automation for performance measurement, load and scale testing.
• Create integration/regression test scenarios, manage data, and generate reports.
• Provide problem resolution and technical leadership for the group.
• Work independently on highly complex projects with ownership.
