Job summary

Ivy Tech Community College seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach in the Cloud Technologies program. Responsibilities include delivering classes, using technology to enhance instruction, and maintaining course materials and student records.

Daytime hours are required, with flexibility as needed. Qualified candidates may hold a master’s or bachelor’s degree in IT with relevant experience or credentials, and will be expected to adhere to FERPA and college policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in information technology from a regionally accredited institution.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology with two years of in-field professional employment or equivalent.
• Documentation of information technology teaching excellence, including date of award, or related advanced coursework may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate learning by delivering assigned classes per college policy and course objectives.
• Develop and maintain outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, and materials; keep accurate student records and grades.
• Engage with students to create a positive learning experience and employ active classroom teaching strategies.
