Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an Infrastructure & Systems Engineer to support a highly technical engineering organization. This role covers systems administration, networking, cloud infrastructure, containerization, and automation across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and implement scalable solutions to improve reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong systems administration across Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
• Experience provisioning, configuring, and automating deployment of systems and development environments.
• Solid networking background incl. DNS, routing, VPNs, firewalls, subnets, security groups, connectivity troubleshooting.
• Hands-on cloud experience in AWS and/or Azure including IAM, VPCs, networking, compute resources, storage, load balancers, DNS, and security controls.
• Strong Docker/containerization experience incl. building, maintaining, and optimizing container images.
• Bash and/or PowerShell scripting for automation and infrastructure management.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience supporting engineering, software development, or product development teams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues across multiple platforms.
• Administer Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.
• Implement automation and deployment tooling to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and networking in AWS and/or Azure.
• Containerize and optimize applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
