Job summary

Amazon Web Services seeks a Systems Development Engineer to build and maintain a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) approved CWE infrastructure. The role focuses on architectural design, automation, and end-user workspace tooling for government cloud environments.

Responsibilities include defining scalable solutions, automating operations, and supporting tools like JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, and Duo while working in a fast-paced AWS setting.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of programming with at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
• 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 4+ years of designing or architecting of new and existing systems.
• 6+ years of systems development in an IT/data center environment.
• 4+ years deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment.
• 4+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Experience programming with at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby).
• Manage user applications like JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, Duo, etc.
• Investigate and implement automated tools to support CWE operations.
• Define and develop solutions to solve technically complex cloud issues for customers.
