Job summary

Lentech, Inc. is seeking an experienced Linux/Cloud Engineer to support the CCC Partnerships Team in Laurel, MD. You will vet and onboard DIB partners, perform Linux tasks via SSH, and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.

You will contribute to provisioning and sustaining secure network infrastructures (PKI/IPSEC/VPN) and work with Hadoop and NoSQL ecosystems. A TS.SCI w/FSP clearance and 5+ years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Active TS.SCI w/FSP required.
• 5+ years of experience in relevant field.
• Experience with Linux and container orchestration.
• Experience provisioning and managing secure networks (PKI, IPSEC, VPN).
• Knowledge of Hadoop clusters and NoSQL frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Vet and onboard DIB companies for CCC Partnerships Team services.

Description

• This team helps vet and onboard DIB companies with the variety of services the CCC Partnerships Team offers
• Perform basic Linux tasks to include SSH to remotely connect to a linux machine, install software in linux (RPM, YUM), understand docker, kubernetes, traefik etc and gather status from linux machines
• Technical experience and knowledge of peer-to-peer distributed storage networks, peer-to-peer routing and application messaging frameworks
• Demonstrated experience provisioning and sustaining network infrastructures and have experience developing, operating, and managing networks required to operate in a secure PKI, IPSEC, or VPN enabled environment
• Demonstrated knowledge of analytical needs and requirements, query syntax, data flows, and traffic manipulation
• Demonstrated work experience with the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS)
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of OpenSource (NoSQL) products that support highly distributed, massively parallel computation needs such as Hbase, Accumulo, Big Table, etc

Education

• Hadoop/Cloud System Administration Certificationwith five (5) years of experience managing and monitoring large Hadoop clusters (>200 nodes).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
• Four (4) years of additional experience on projects with similar requirements may be substituted for a bachelor's degree

Salary range

$140,063.00 $149,582.00
