Job summary

Peraton is hiring a Cloud Support Systems Engineer for the Cyber Mission unit in Jessup, MD. This full-time role supports a large enterprise contract and requires 1880 hours annually at a customer location.

You will advise on technical and process alternatives and manage configuration across the IT infrastructure. You will help plan, deploy, secure, and operate the enterprise IT environment across domains, including data links, networks, and government communication interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or other related discipline plus at least 20 years of systems engineering experience.
• Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and process recommendations, conduct technical analysis of alternatives, and provide configuration management.
• Assist in planning, developing, deploying, securing, and operating the IT Infrastructure across the customer enterprise.
• Assist in developing transition plans for services including data links, networks, government communication systems, interfaces, and processing systems.
• Assist with standardization of services so that enterprise tools are developed within the organization.
• Assist Government Team in ensuring required activities for collaboration services and relocation of Agency collaboration tools.
