You will work closely with development teams to build cloud-native applications, ensure compliance, and optimize architectures for availability and performance. This role combines cloud solution design, security expertise, and hands-on development in an Agile environment.**Key responsibilities*** Design, build, and operate secure, highly available cloud solutions on AWS or Azure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or similar).* Develop cloud‐native applications and APIs (REST & GraphQL) using Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, and event‐driven architectures with Kafka.* Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes/OpenShift, ensuring scalability, performance, and cost optimization.* Implement security best practices across all layers, aligned with OWASP guidelines and compliance standards.* Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, optimizing development workflows with AI‐powered tools and automation.Use Redis and other technologies to enable high‐performance caching and real‐time data access.## YOUR PROFILE* Strong experience designing cloud solutions on AWS or Azure, with hands‐on use of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or similar).* Solid backend development background using Java (Spring Boot), Node.js, and event‐driven architectures with Kafka.* Proven experience with microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift) and well‐established CI/CD pipelines.* Good understanding of cloud and application security (OWASP principles, OAuth 2.0, SAML) and DevOps / DevSecOps practices; interest in integrating AI‐driven tools and features.* Collaborative, customer‐oriented, and result‐driven, focused on delivering quality* Fluent in Dutch and English (French is a plus).## WHAT YOU'LL LOVE ABOUT WORKING HERE* At Capgemini Belgium we offer flexibility in more than one way: next to our hybrid way of working, where we offer you can work 70% from home, we also offer our flex abroad program.
