Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a Software Engineer to join a global engineering team. You will work with Google Cloud Platform, modern IDEs, and GenAI tools to write code across a mix of current and legacy systems, with emphasis on quality and scalable APIs.

You’ll contribute to an agile, user-centric environment, collaborating across product teams to deliver robust services, APIs, and web interfaces that power Ford’s customer experiences and vehicle platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of progressive software engineering, architecture and agile experience.
• 3+ years with Core Java, Spring Boot, and frontend frameworks (React.js or Angular).
• 3+ years of experience with relational and non-relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop web services, webpages, APIs, and microservices.
• Collaborate with product teams on integrations, testing and deployments.
• Translate business requirements into detailed specifications.
• Ensure software engineering excellence and quality within the product team.
• Collaborate with teams to reduce complexity and improve interoperability across services.
