Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the AWS Central SDE Team to help build a centralized pipeline of SDE talent across AWS for 2026 hiring. The role covers multiple SDE domains, including Embedded Systems, AI/ML, Cloud Computing, and Security, with opportunities across teams like Twitch, AWS Elemental, and CloudFront.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 3+ years of building complex software systems experience.
• 2+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using: C#, C++, Java, or Perl experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
• Implement complex software solutions that meet business requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
