Job description

We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated Software Engineer with strong programming fundamentals, software design, and practices to help build and manage our cloud platform. In this role, you will have a great opportunity to marry your full-stack software engineering skills with hands-on cloud development. Job Location: Boston, MA (with potential options for Merrimack, NH or Westlake, TX)

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $55 - $75 / hr. w2

Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud platform solutions using full-stack development skills.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers to develop and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.
• Deploy and manage applications in Kubernetes and AWS environments.
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve production issues under pressure.
• Develop serverless functions and manage infrastructure as code.

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong understanding of cloud IAM controls and policies
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform)
• Proficiency in agile software development practices
• Preferred: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, or Kubernetes Application Developer

Required Certifications/Education

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology-related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science)

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
