General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Cloud System Administrator/Integrator to lead cloud integration across AC2SP/ALTESS environments and Army cloud initiatives.

You will design hybrid architectures, manage workloads in Azure and OCI, and ensure secure, scalable, mission-ready systems. Responsibilities include implementing CI/CD pipelines, IaC, IAM, and secure DevOps across multi-cloud environments, while maintaining RMF/STIG compliance and executive-level briefings

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud integration and system administration across AC2SP, Azure, OCI, and related environments.
• Design and manage hybrid architectures integrating on-prem, tactical edge, and cloud platforms.
• Administer workloads in Azure and OCI (VMs, containers, storage, networking, IAM).
• Support geospatial systems (ArcGIS) in cloud-native and hybrid architectures.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices for cloud-hosted apps and services.
• Automate configuration, patching, and monitoring (PowerShell, cloud automation tools, Ansible/DSC).
• Ensure RMF, STIG, and DoD Cloud SRG compliance (IL2–IL6).
• Provide executive updates on progress, risks, and readiness.

GDIT is seeking aSenior Cloud System Administrator / Integratorwith deep experience supportingArmy systems in cloud and hybrid environments. You will apply advanced systems design and integration principles to deliversecure, interoperable, and cloud-optimized solutions.

You will leadcloud integration and system administrationefforts across on-prem, tactical, and cloud-hosted environments, ensuring secure, scalable, and mission-ready architectures aligned withArmy and DoW cloud strategies, including AC2SP/ALTESS and relevant DoW cloud initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

• Leadcloud-focused integration and system administrationacross AC2SP/ALTESS-aligned environments, supporting Armycloud migration, modernization, and convergenceinitiatives
• Design and managehybrid architecturesthat integrate:
  • On-prem Army systems
  • Tactical edge environments
  • Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure Government, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AC2SP, ALTESS)
• Administer and integrate workloads withinAzure and OCI environments, including:
  • Compute (VMs, containers, serverless where applicable)
  • Storage (blobs, disks, object storage)
  • Networking (VNets, subnets, gateways, peering, VPNs)
  • Identity and access services (Azure AD, OCI IAM, role-based access control)
• Supportmigration and sustainment of geospatial systems(e.g., ArcGIS) intocloud-native and hybrid architectures, ensuring performance, reliability, and secure access
• Implement and maintainDevSecOps pipelinesto support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) of cloud-hosted applications and services
• Automatesystem configuration, patching, and monitoringusing:

• Supportcross-domain and multi-security-level integrationsinvolving data flows between tactical, on-prem, and cloud environments
• Monitorcloud system health, performance, and availabilityusing cloud-native observability tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, OCI Monitoring, CloudWatch if applicable)
• Troubleshootintegration issues across multi-vendor and multi-cloud ecosystemsin real time, ensuring mission continuity and resilience

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve astechnical lead for cloud integration and system administrationacross AC2SP, Azure, OCI, and related cloud environments supporting Army missions.
• Develop and maintaincloud system architecture artifacts, including:
  • Cloud reference architectures
  • Data flow diagrams
  • Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
• Lead integration ofgeospatial platforms (e.g., ArcGIS Enterprise)into cloud-hosted and hybrid environments, ensuring secure access and optimized performance.
• Configure and manage:
  • Virtual machines, containers, and platform services in Azure/OCI
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM) in Azure AD and OCI, including:
    • Role-based access control (RBAC)
    • Conditional access and security policies
  • Networking in the cloud:
    • VNets, subnets, NSGs, gateways
    • Hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute, FastConnect)
• Supportcloud landing zoneimplementation and sustainment for Army and DoW environments.
• Implementautomation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)using tools such as:
  • Terraform
  • Azure Resource Manager (ARM templates)
  • OCI Resource Manager (Terraform-based)
• ApplyPowerShell and REST API integrationsfor:
  • Cloud resource orchestration
  • Diagnostics and remediation
  • Automated governance and compliance checks
• Ensure compliance with:
  • Risk Management Framework (RMF)
  • DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • DoD Cloud SRG (Impact Levels IL2–IL6)
• Provide technical input forAC2SP and Army cloud migration planning and execution, including assessments of readiness, risk, and performance.
• Deliverexecutive-level updateson cloud integration progress, risks, and system readiness.
• Operate effectively undertime-sensitive conditions, providingexecutive-ready briefings, updates, and status reportsto leadership and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• TS/SCIwith Polygraph. Cna sponsor for a Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Location: On Customer site
• 10+ years of experience in systems administrator, engineering, and integration supporting large-scale system sustainability.
• 5+ years of related DoW, Military, or US Government related experience.
• 8140 / IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+, CySA+, or GSEC).
• At least one foundational cloud certification (required):
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations Associate
• Preferred / Advanced Certifications - One or more associate or professional-level cloud certifications:
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate or Professional
• Security-focused certifications:

• Demonstrated expertise incloud system administration and integrationfor mission-critical environments, preferably Army/DoW.

• Hands-on experience building, administering, and securing workloads in:
  • Microsoft Azure (Azure Government strongly preferred)

• Strong scripting expertise, including:
