Job summary

Google Cloud's Mandiant team seeks a Senior Strategic Security Consultant to lead and support client projects that assess, test, or build their security programs. You will guide clients on best practices and risk management, partnering with Google Cloud’s cybersecurity leadership to drive mature security postures.

The role involves advising diverse clients, from startups to established firms, on cloud and on-premises security, incident readiness, and program reform, with opportunities for travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions and programs across security domains.
• 5 years of experience in delivering cyber outcomes, identifying mission risks, and devising solutions.
• Experience working in client-facing cybersecurity consulting environments.
• Ability to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support strategic security engagements for client programs.
• Guide clients on transforming cyber defense capabilities across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Evaluate client requirements, scope engagement effort and costs, and prepare statements of work and proposals.
• Design and facilitate executive tabletop exercises and security workshops to assess incident response readiness.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of strategic consulting offerings and assets.
