Job summary

Intone Networks Inc. is seeking a Cloud Security Specialist to join the Security Engineering team in our IT division for a 12-month contract in Washington, DC.

The role centers on strategy, design, deployment, and maintenance of secure cloud, local, and hybrid security solutions. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of hands-on AWS security experience, possess AWS Security and AWS Solutions Architect certifications, and demonstrate experience with federal cybersecurity requirements such as

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on AWS security experience.
• AWS Security certification is required.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Professional or Associate) certification is required.
• Demonstrated federal experience and knowledge of federal cybersecurity requirements.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement secure, scalable AWS cloud architectures following best practices and security frameworks
• Adopt and implement federal cybersecurity requirements (NIST CSF, OMB M-22-09, and NIST SP 800-53)
• Provide deep analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting expertise to independently resolve complex security challenges
• Provide technical security consultation and advisory services with a proactive approach to identifying potential issues and engaging with team members and stakeholders
• Support the design and maintenance of security solutions across cloud, local, and hybrid environments
