Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Advisory professional to conduct comprehensive cloud security assessments, evaluate designs and configurations, and guide secure cloud architectures across CSPs. You will embed security into SDLC and CI/CD pipelines and provide technical advisory to internal teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on scripting and coding in Python, PowerShell, or Bash for automation and tooling.
• Fundamental cybersecurity principles and security controls knowledge.
• Foundational cloud computing concepts and familiarity with one major CSP.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Info Security, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an investigative mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cloud security assessments across CSPs.
• Identify risks, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations in cloud environments.
• Perform software architecture reviews for cloud deployments.
• Develop secure architecture design patterns for cloud-native apps.
• Document security measures and guardrails to protect data and APIs.
• Embed security in SDLC and CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native apps.
• Provide technical advisory to internal stakeholders on cloud security.
• Develop scripts and automated solutions to streamline security processes.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud threats and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to incident response and remediation efforts as needed.
