Job summary

Tetrad Digital Integrity (TDI) is seeking a hands-on Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) to support Department of War cloud enterprise systems at IL7 in an on-site Northern VA role.

You will lead RMF activities, translate NIST SP 800-53 and Cloud SRG requirements into actionable security deliverables, and drive security across cloud-native workloads and containerized environments. An active Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Advanced proficiency for Information System Security Manager IAW DoD 8140.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years cybersecurity experience with RMF activities for DoW systems.
• Experience leading A&A processes in classified DoW environments.
• Practical, hands-on cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with IAM, VPC, Kubernetes, and cloud security services.
• Knowledge of containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and container security best practices.
• Familiarity with Generative AI technologies and AI/ML security considerations.
• Deep understanding of NIST SP 800-53, DoD RMF, FedRAMP, and RMF artifact writing (SSPs, POA&Ms, SARs).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead RMF activities across all phases (categorization to continuous monitoring).
• Provide guidance on DoW cloud security policies and RMF controls.
• Conduct security architecture reviews for cloud-native workloads.
• Evaluate security controls for Kubernetes and container platforms.
• Assess risks related to generative AI, LLMs, and AI/ML workloads.
• Develop and maintain SSPs, SARs, POA&Ms and RMF docs.
• Perform threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and risk analyses for cloud environments.
• Interface with architects, developers, and DevSecOps to embed security in SDLC.
• Lead security compliance through SCAs and third-party assessors.
• Monitor and report on ConMon posture; minimal travel required.
