Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Mid-Level Cloud Security Engineer to support cloud and network security operations in enterprise and federal environments. The role requires hands-on experience with proxy policies, SASE/SSE, and incident resolution in a customer-facing setting.

The candidate will troubleshoot security and connectivity issues, document procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. A Public Trust and U.S. Citizenship are required, with a salary range of $80,001–$120,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred (4 years experience in lieu of degree).
• 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, network engineering, cloud security, proxy administration, or related field.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust requiring U.S. Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for cloud security, network security, proxy, and SASE/SSE capabilities.
• Receive, investigate, troubleshoot, document, and resolve O&M tickets, incidents, service requests, and customer-reported issues.
• Modify, implement, and troubleshoot proxy security policies and rules in accordance with security requirements and procedures.
• Interface directly with customers and stakeholders to understand requirements and coordinate resolutions.
• Analyze traffic, logs, and alerts to identify root causes of security and connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with network, cloud, cybersecurity, applications, infrastructure and service desk teams to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and SOPs, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge articles.
• Support and conduct implementation/testing of new security capabilities and configurations.
