Job summary

Appspace is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud configurations across GCP, Azure, and AWS, with emphasis on GCP.

You will guide security by design and support clients’ secure, compliant cloud environments. Responsibilities include security operations design, SIEM integration, network diagrams, IAM governance, and incident response planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/security or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive cloud security experience.
• 4+ years securing, configuring and managing cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize robust cloud security architectures.
• Respond to customer security questionnaires and requests with diagrams and artifacts.
• Review security alerts and expand SIEM capabilities for better visibility.
• Provide guidance on IAM, data encryption, API security, and secure baselines.
• Lead compliance efforts for GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and related frameworks.
