Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners, LLC is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer for a large aviation enterprise. You will secure Azure/AWS, Kubernetes workloads, and automate security workflows in a highly technical environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on cloud security, CSPM/CNAPP usage, and collaboration with engineering teams to remediate findings. Hybrid schedule, on-site in Fort Worth, TX, for a 5-month contract, $54/hour.

Qualifications

• 3 years of cybersecurity or cloud security engineering experience.
• Hands-on in Azure and/or AWS security.
• Experience securing Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads.
• Hands-on CSPM or CNAPP technologies.
• Experience implementing security policies and guardrails.
• Scripting in Python or Node.js for automation.
• Ability to work with engineering teams to remediate findings.
• Understanding security across compute, networking, storage and identity.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Protect enterprise cloud environments across Azure and AWS.
• Build and enforce security controls for Kubernetes and containers.
• Improve cloud security posture with CSPM/CNAPP.
• Review and track findings through remediation.
• Create cloud security policies and guardrails.
• Collaborate with developers to reduce security risk.
• Build automation with Python or Node.js.
• Develop custom solutions when existing platforms lack.
• Strengthen security across workloads, infrastructure, networking, and identity.
• Participate in occasional on-call support.
