Job summary

Disruptive Solutions, LLC seeks a cloud security specialist to evaluate security documentation, implement cloud security architectures, and coordinate with IC clients. The role requires RMF expertise, DoD 8570 readiness, and agile development experience.

The candidate will work on cloud security for federal and commercial clients, focusing on secure cloud architectures, risk management, and compliance with DoD standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and administering cloud environments with cloud-native features and COTS/GOTS tools.
• Knowledge of IaC concepts using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
• Experience creating and evaluating security documentation (SSPs, contingency plans, COOP).
• Experience with security architecture evaluations and RMF.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Education: HS diploma/GED with 7+ years, or AA with 5+, or BA with 3+, or MS with 1+ years.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 CSSP-IS certification within 30 days of offer.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification within 45 days.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and support documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes for IT systems.
• Define desired state and risk thresholds; analyze state information for compliance.
• Advise on codifying objectives into doctrine and procedures.
• Evaluate applications and software for assurance best practices.
• Recommend tools based on current environments (on-prem, cloud, hybrid).
• Implement cloud security architectures, tools, and processes.
• Work with IC clients to ensure security requirements are met.

Job Summary

The position involves evaluating security documentation, supporting accreditation, implementing cloud security architectures, working with IC clients, and leveraging cloud technologies to improve security.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and support documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes for IT systems.
• Assist in defining desired state and risk thresholds, analyze actual state information for compliance.
• Advise on codifying strategic objectives into doctrine and procedures.
• Evaluate computer applications, software, or specialized utility programs for software assurance best practices.
• Recommend tools and capabilities based on research of current environment and knowledge of on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources.
• Implement cloud security architectures, tools, and processes.
• Work with IC clients to ensure standards are met with security requirements.
• Collaborate with cloud security experts to secure environments using latest cloud technologies.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience building and administering cloud environments, utilizing cloud-native functionality as well as COTs, GOTS, and open source tools.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure code concepts such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep.
• Experience with developing and evaluating security documentation, including system security plans, contingency plans, security procedures, and continuity of operations plans.
• Experience with security architecture evaluations, guidance development, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF).
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience supporting IT projects and activities, or Associate’s degree and 5+ years, or Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years, or Master’s degree and 1+ years.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570.01-M Cybersecurity Service Provider - Infrastructure Support (CSSP-IS) Certification, including CEH, CySA+, GICSP, SSCP, CHFI, CFR, Cloud+, or CND within 30 days of offer accept.
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT Level III Certification such as SecurityX (formerly CASP+), CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH, CCSP within 45 days of CSSP-IS date or offer accept if already certified.
